(Apologies to one or two for the poor pics - I did my best with what I had to work from!)

Based on comments from people afterwards:

Some of the things that were good were....
  • volleyball

  • perfect weather

  • pool bar

  • beach barbecue

  • not having to share with Steve

  • And some that were perhaps not so good....
  • having to dance on my own at the barbecue

  • bars shut too early

  • not enough sprint sessions

  • not enough distance sessions(!!)

  • having to share with Steve

  • You can unload a file containing all the swimming sessions from the week using either of these links:

And finally, who could this possibly be, talking about himself in Dostoevsky's classic Crime and Punishment: "I faff too much, however. That's why I don't do anything, because I faff. However, maybe it's like this: I faff because I don't do anything. I've learned to faff over this last month, lying in a corner day in day out thinking about . . . cuckooland." *

     * Ok, Dostoevsky might have used "dream" instead of "faff", but I'm sure he would have used faff it the word had existed at the time.
